THE AUDIO GUIDE AND HIS VOICES
A new audio guide for the Chapter of Santa Maria ad Martyres, produced by D’Uva for the Pantheon of Rome with the charismatic and evocative voices of famous actors, accompanied by the original compositions of Antonio Fresa, performed and recorded with the Orchestra of the Teatro La Fenice.
With the new audio guide, the Pantheon is told by five figures who had a particular meaning in its history:
- Hadrian, who had it built, as we see it today, between 118 and 125 AD,
- Pope Boniface IV, who in 609 AD. he converted it into a church, consecrating it to the Virgin Mary and all martyrs,
- Raphael, who in 1520 wanted to be buried in this temple,
- Margherita of Savoy, resting alongside her King Umberto and
- Mons. Daniele Micheletti, Archpriest Rector, who greets the public, bringing them back to the spiritual dimension of the visit, with the aim of remembering that the Pantheon of Rome is a church: the Basilica of Santa Maria ad Martyres.
